Does the scholarship apply to hostel and food costs?
No. University merit scholarships and SAARC waivers only apply to the tuition fee. Hostel (accommodation), mess (food), exam fees, and one-time admission charges are separate and must be paid in full.
Do I need to maintain my GPA to keep the scholarship?
Yes. Almost all universities require you to maintain a minimum CGPA (usually 6.5 to 7.5 out of 10) and minimum attendance (usually 75%) during your studies to renew the scholarship each year.
Is IELTS required to get a scholarship in India?
No, IELTS is not required for Bangladeshi students to study or receive scholarships in India, as the medium of instruction in Bangladesh is widely recognized.
